About Overlake Medical Center Foundation
Overlake’s mission is compassionate care for every life we touch. Many in the community struggle with low incomes and high costs. Studies have shown that people who are uninsured or underinsured often forgo needed medical care. At Overlake, no one with an emergent need for care is turned away due to inability to pay. Their Charity Care program ensures that compassionate care is available for everyone.

When patients are approved for financial assistance, their Overlake medical bills are reduced or waived. Specifically, individuals with incomes at or below 200% of the current federal poverty level may qualify to have 100% of their liability removed, while those with incomes between 201% and 400% of the federal poverty level may receive discounts on a sliding scale. We met our objective of providing Charity Care for qualified patients who applied for assistance.
