Wockner Foundation Grants
The Gene and Irene Wockner Foundation accepts requests from March 1 through March 31 each year allowing organizations to plan and submit their proposals during that window. The grants focus on project support rather than capital projects or endowments, ensuring that funds are directed toward immediate needs and community services. If you need help with understanding the application process, please contact us for support.

Grant Guidelines
We would like to see the following features included in an application:
- Mission and History: A clear description of the proposing organization’s mission, its history, and the areas in which it operates.
- Accomplishments: Highlight notable achievements and the impact made within the community.
- Sources of Revenue and Funding: Information on the organization’s additional sources of revenue and funding.
- Amount Requested: An application should clearly specify the exact dollar amount being requested. Funding requests should accurately reflect the specific financial needs of each program, rather than merely replicating past awards. While not every organization will receive funding, this information is important to assist the board in its selection process.

Applicant Characteristics
- An applicant must be a 501(c)(3) Public Charity
- Organizations are not required to be based in North King County or South Snohomish County; however, priority consideration will be given to those demonstrating a significant impact in these regions
- A proposal should pertain to an activity that directly supports our mission and aligns with the goals of The Gene and Irene Wockner Foundation
The application window is currently closed. Please check back March, 2026
